The Expansion/Renovation project has transformed the previous 13,000 s.f. Emergency Department into a state-of-the-art 26,200 s.f. ED. This project features a new Main Hospital Entrance and an Admitting Component, which have been relocated from another part of the Hospital.

The Main Entrance serves as a front door to the community and downtown financial district. This project included the infill of a 6,600 s.f. courtyard constructed in the first phase for the Acute Treatment Area. The ED maintained continuous operation during the 4 phase construction and made a smooth transition upon completion of the space.
