The project called for creating a new on-site 4,800 s.f. Rapid Response laboratory to free up space for a new Burn Center. The existing main hospital Clinic laboratory of 10,800 s.f. was expanded and relocated off site in 19,000 s.f. to serve the North and South campus Hospital.

The Rapid Response lab includes Stat-lab capabilities for Histology, Chemistry, Blood Bank and Blood Drawing.
